Which cookies GoThundr sets, why, and how to refuse them.
What we set
Two kinds, and only two:
- Essential. Needed for the site to work — remembering your preferences and keeping the app functioning if you start a chat. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
- Analytics. Google Analytics cookies that tell us, in aggregate, which pages get read and which links get clicked. These are not essential and you can refuse them.
What we do not set
No advertising or retargeting cookies, and no cross-site tracking pixels, at the time of writing. If that changes this page changes with it.
Refusing analytics cookies
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies for a specific site, and most offer a “block third-party cookies” setting that stops analytics without affecting the rest of the page. Browser-level Do Not Track and tracker-blocking extensions also work here — nothing on this site attempts to circumvent them.
Third-party sites
Services we link to set their own cookies under their own policies once you visit them.
